The petitioner is objecting to the selection of respondents No. 5 to 8 on the ground that she is more meritorious than the selected candidates.

It is noticed on perusal of the select list and the marks secured by each of the applicants that the petitioner has secured 102 marks and has been enlisted in the wait list prepared and prescribed for open category and another candidate belonging to SC category who is senior in age has also secured 102 marks and she has been
2 WP10122.2015 enlisted in wait list prepared for SC category. The selected candidates have secured more marks than that of the petitioner. It has not been demonstrated as to how the petitioner is superior in merit than the selected candidates. Prima facie, it does not appear that any illegality has been committed in preparing the wait list and issuing appointment letters to respondent Nos. 5 to 8. 3.
