Present petition has been filed for directions to Respondent nos.3 to 6 to formulate and effectively implement a comprehensive Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) or policy guidelines for making the arrangements for residence of the Government-Recognized Editors, Journalists and Media representatives etc. during the Winter Session of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly at Nagpur.

Learned advocate for the petitioner has placed on record a photocopy of the office order issued by the Respondent no.1State on 10.11.2025 wherein, it appears that, a Committee has been formed and the procedure has been laid down as to how the Reporters, Journalists, Editors and Media Representatives
