By way of present application, the applicant seeks regular bail in connection with Crime No. II-3135/2015 registered with Shrirampur City Police Station, District Ahmednagar for the offence punishable under Sections 7, 13(I)(D) and 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act.

The applicant was arrested on 28/08/2015 for an offence punishable under Sections Sections 7, 13(I)(D) and 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act.

After custodial interrogation of the applicant is over, he is already sent to M.C.R.

Looking to the nature of the allegations and the fact that custodial interrogation of the applicant is already over, in my opinion, no fruitful purpose will be served in ordering further detention of the applicant. Hence, the following order.

(a) The applicant be released on bail, upon furnishing P.R. bond of Rs.15,000/- (Rs. Fifteen thousand) with one surety in the like amount in connection with Crime No. II-3135/2015 registered with Shrirampur City Police Station, District Ahmednagar for the offence punishable under Sections 7, 13(I)(D) and 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act.

(b) He shall not enter in to the jurisdiction of Shrirampur City Police Station till filling of the charge sheet, but for as and when called by the Investigating Officer. He shall provide his contact number and place of residence to the Investigating Officer. 5.

The application is allowed in above terms.
