The petitioner is seeking directions to the Collector, Superintendent of Police and Police Inspector of Songir Police Station to decide his representations.

The representations preferred to the police authorities are in the nature of askig to register the crime. In our view, the petitioner has equally efficacious alternate remedy to approach the Court of J.M.F.C. and solicit order under Section 156(3) of Code of Criminal Procedure. Needless to mention, if such an application is made, the same would be decided on its own merits.

So far as another representation preferred to Collector, Dhule dated 30th January, 2023 is concerned, we direct the concerned Collector to decide the petitioner's representation on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.
