Admittedly, the term for which the last managing committee was elected for the period 2014 to 2019, as such, the direction issued by the Assistant Charity Commissioner to hold elections by appointment of the Inspector of the Public Trusts Registration Office, Jalna as an Election Officer cannot be faulted with.

Considering the fact situation, the cost imposed by the impugned order is reduced to Rs.2,000/-.

I see no error in the impugned order passed. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
