In this appeal against conviction the accused/appellant has died on 18.11.2020. By this application purportedly under Section 394 of the Code of Criminal Procedure his widow and son are seeking leave to continue the appeal.

Heard both the sides. Since the deceased was convicted under the provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act, even though he has died the widow and the son intend to prosecute the appeal against his conviction. They are allowed to be brought on record pursuant to the provisions of Section 394 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. 3.

Leave is granted to continue the appeal.
