Mr. Thoart, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner in the school record is recorded as Renuka Shankar Paddhane. The same is wrongly recorded. The maternal grandmother of the petitioner entered that name. The petitioner got the name corrected in the official gazette on 06.11.2014. The other documents such as Adhar Card, Pan Card, Election Card and qualification for diploma are in the name of Mahi d/o Ramesh Sodhi. Now, because of different name appearing in the school record, the petitioner is facing problems.

We have heard the learned Government Pleader also. 3.

On the basis of the name corrected in the official gazette dated 06.11.2014, the petitioner is seeking to correct name in the school record incorporated almost 20 years back. The same may not be permissible. The petitioner has a copy of official gazette. The petitioner can prove the facts.

In light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
