Petitioners are challenging the common order passed in their respective claims for validation of their 'Koli Mahadev' Scheduled Tribe certificates.

We have heard both the sides finally with consent. 3.

Admittedly, petitioner Raviraj's real sister Yogini Ramesh Jetewad was before this Court in Writ Petition No. 1703 of 2022, similarly aggrieved by in validation of her tribe certificate. By order dated 19/07/2023, for the reasons recorded therein, she was directed to be issued with a certificate of validity, subject to the condition that the 933.wp8949.24.odt

validity would depend upon the final outcome of the matters which the committee had decided to reopen in respect of the validity holders. 4.

Since there is no dispute that Yogini is petitioner Raviraj's real sister, going by the genealogy and the other petitioner is apparently related to Yogini and Raviraj, even she is entitled to be treated similarly with that of Yogini. One need not undertake any threadbare scrutiny of sustainability of the order under challenge in view of the fact that the learned Advocate for the petitioners submits that they are ready to run the consequences contemplated in the matter of Shweta Balaji Isankar Vs. The State of Maharashtra and others in Writ Petition No. 5611/2018 decided on 27.07.2018.

The writ petition is partly allowed. The impugned order is quashed and set aside.

The Committee shall immediately issue certificates of validity to both the petitioners of 'Koli Mahadev' Scheduled Tribe which shall be co-terminus with the Yogini's validity.
