939 WRIT PETITION NO. 10106 OF 2017 SURESH SHESHRAO JADHAV

VERSUS

THE STATE OF MAHARASHTRA AND OTHERS ...

Advocate for Petitioner : Mr. R.B. Singare(A) AGP for Respondents: Mr. P.S. Patil Advocate for Respondent No.2 : Mr. S.T. Shelke ...

CORAM : R. M. BORDE & S. M. GAVHANE, JJ.

Date: August 11, 2017 ...

PER COURT :- Since the Application was tendered by the petitioner, after the cut-off date, prescribed by the State Election Commission, for enlisting of names of the voters, in the assembly voters list, the grievance raised by the petitioner in the instant petition, objecting to the rejection of the Application by the Election authorities, does not deserve consideration.

The writ petition is devoid of substance and hence stands disposed of.

It would be open for the authorities concerned to consider the request of the petitioner for the next election, as may be permissible.
