The petitioner, who possesses 'Thakar' scheduled tribe certificate in an incorrect form has applied for a fresh tribe certificate in Form 'C'. The application has been pending with the respondent-competent authority since July 2024.

The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already surrendered the original tribe certificate before

The writ petition is disposed of directing respondent no. 2competent authority to issue a fresh tribe certificate of 'Thakar' scheduled tribe to the petitioner in Form C, as expeditiously as possible, and in any case within one week.
