Heard. The petitioner claims that he belongs to 'Chapparband' caste and caste certificate validation proposal submitted to the committee is pending for verification since 2013. In the circumstances, as a result of failure of the petitioner to submit validation certificate, it is informed that the University has not declared result of 4th semester examination of the petitioner.

In the circumstance, this petition can be disposed of by directing the Scrutiny Committee to take

( 2 ) wp10182.17 decision on caste certificate verification proposal of the petitioner in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months and it is accordingly directed.

Learned Counsel Mr.S.T. Shelke appears for North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon and states that the result of the petitioner of 4th semester would be declared forthwith.

The statement is accepted.

In view of above, the writ petition is disposed of.

Untill decision of the claim of the petitioner in respect of verification of the caste certificate, the petitioner shall be permitted to prosecute further studies. The petitioner undertakes to co-operate the Scrutiny Committee in expeditious disposal of the proposal.
