The Petitioner has preferred this Petition on 19.08.2022, praying for an amount of Rs.19,312/-, towards the difference of the fifth pay commission, for the period 01.04.1996 to 31.12.1998.

After hearing the learned Advocate for the Petitioner, we are not inclined to entertain this Petition considering that the issue has been raised after 28 years.

The learned Advocate for the Corporation submits that because the Head Master of the Corporation Primary School at Bansilal Nagar, has prepared the calculations of Rs.19,312/-, the Corporation would consider releasing the said payment within a period of sixty days.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off. We make it clear that we have not revived the purported cause of action, after 28 years.
