The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that against the order rejecting the application of the petitioner for issuance of caste certificate, the petitioner has filed an appeal in May 2019. The same is not yet decided.

In case, the appeal filed by the petitioner is pending with the committee, then the committee shall decide the same on its own merits, in accordance with law, expeditiously and preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of appearance of the petitioner. 3.

The petitioner shall appear before the committee on 21.08.2019.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
