The petitioner seeks to challenge the order passed by the Sub Divisional Officer/ Deputy Collector (Atiyat), Latur dated 14.05.2019. Section 8 of the Hyderabad Atiyat Inquiries Act, 1952 provides for a statutory remedy before the Collector (Atiyat). This writ petition, therefore, need not be entertained and is disposed off.

The petitioner shall approach the Collector (Atiyat). All contentions of the petitioner as against the impugned order are kept open. The Collector (Atiyat) would consider the proceedings in the light of the contentions of the respondents and the provisions of the Hyderabad Atiyat Inquiries Act, 1952, on their own merits.
