Petitioner claims to belong to Koli Mahadev, Scheduled Tribe and has been admitted to Engineering Course in Electronics and Telecommunication branch in Respondent No.3 College as against a seat reserved for Scheduled Tribe category. As a result of failure of the petitioner to submit validity certificate, RespondentUniversity has withheld result of the petitioner of last year examination.

In the facts of this case, Respondent No.4-University is directed to declare result of the petitioner for last year examination and issue degree certificate and other documents, if eligible. Petitioner shall not be entitled to claim benefits in the matter of employment as well as for prosecuting further studies unless he receives validity certificate from the Scrutiny Committee. Respondent No.2-Committee is directed to decide the caste

Writ Petition stands disposed of.
