This petition is filed for a relief that was claimed earlier in Writ Petition No.7207/2025 also. The relief sought is a direction to the Respondent No.2 - Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the Petitioner at the earliest, considering the fact that the Petitioner is a student and aspires to take admission in the MBBS/BDS courses. 2.

Learned AGP appears on behalf of both the Respondents. 3.

Perusal of the order dated 17.06.2025 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.7207/2025 shows that at that stage, vigilance cell inquiry was yet to be conducted and therefore, this Court directed that the tribe claim of the Petitioner be decided as soon as possible. 4.

The process of counseling for admission to the said courses has begun and therefore, there is grave urgency projected on behalf of the Petitioner.

The learned AGP, on instructions, informs to this Court that the vigilance cell inquiry report is now ready and that it shall be served on the Petitioner at the earliest.

The Petitioner will have to respond to the same and thereupon the Respondents No.2 - Scrutiny Committee will be able to conduct hearing to decide the claim of the Petitioner. 7.

In view of the above, the respondent No.2 - Scrutiny Committee, is directed to decide the tribe claim of the Petitioner at the earliest and in any case on or before 31.08.2025. (Y. G. KHOBRAGADE, J.) (MANISH PITALE, J.) habeeb/
