The petitioner's proposal is pending with the scrutiny committee since 2017 for validation of his 'Koli Mahadev' Scheduled Tribe certificate.

It is being pointed out that the petitioner's real brother Rushikesh has been held entitled to have a certificate of validity although conditionally, by the order of this Court in Writ Petition No. 7524 of 2018 (Principal Seat) dated 24th July, 2018.

Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that in view of the fact that his degree certificate has been withheld, he is in need of the decision of the Committee. He is ready to adopt the reply filed by the brother Rushikesh to the vigilance report in his matter and the committee be directed to decide the proposal at the earliest. 4.

The petitioner shall appear before the committee on 26th August, 2024 and committee shall consider his request including that of accepting the reply filed by Rushikesh to the vigilance report and decide the proposal as expeditiously as possible thereafter within four weeks.
