Learned counsel for the respondents states that if the petitioner tenders a fresh proposal, the same would be considered in accordance with the scheme formulated by the State Government for grant of Freedom Fighters Pension. The petitioner undertakes to submit the proposal to respondent No.2 Collector within a period of four weeks from today.

On receipt of the proposal, the Collector may forward the same in observance of the procedure prescribed in this behalf to the State Government for consideration and the State Government, on receipt of the proposal from the Collector together with his comments, shall consider the same and pass appropriate order as expeditiously as possible, preferably within 1/2

With the directions as above, writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
