These applications are filed for condonation of delay of 3873 days caused in filing the appeals. Learned AGP opposes the applications stating that no sufficient reasons are assigned in the applications for condonation of delay. However, since the applicants are original claimants whose property is acquired in the land acquisition proceeding, this Court is inclined to entertain these applications, subject to certain conditions.

The applications stand allowed by condoning the delay, subject to deposit of costs of Rs. 3500/- (Rupees Three Thousand Five Hundred) each to be paid to High Court Dispensary. The applicants shall further file specific undertaking that in case the appeals are allowed, they shall not claim interest for the delayed period on the enhanced amount.
