CRIMINAL APPLICATION NO.2298 OF 2021 IN CRIMINAL APPEAL ST. NO.6723 OF 2021 ..Applicant The applicant/appellant herein has been convicted for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 306 of Indian Penal Code and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for three years and seven years, respectively, for the said offences. Considering the quantum of sentence imposed and the fact that the appeal is not likely to come up for hearing in the near future, during pendency of the appeal, the substantive sentence of imprisonment to stand suspended.

During pendency of the appeal, the applicant be released on executing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) with one surety in the like amount. 5.

The jail authorities shall first release the applicant and then complete the procedure with regard to furnishing of bail bonds/ sureties.

Legal fee of learned counsel (appointed) for the applicant is quantified at Rs.6,000/- (Rupees Six Thousand). 7.
