P.C. :- 1] When this PIL was placed before us for passing order today and since it is concerned with encroachment on the Government land at village Itkheda, Tq and Dist.Aurangabad, we enquired from Shri Girase, learned Govt.Pleader and particularly in the light of the affidavit of the Municipal Corporation as to what steps the Collector of the district would take to remove the encroachment, Mr,Girase on instructions stated that the Collector will ensure that the site is inspected, the area is measured and the encroachment to the extent or in its entirety on

( 2 ) Gairan/Government land would be removed with the assistance of the staff and demolition squad of the Municipal Corporation. We hope and trust that the State and the Municipal Corporation act in coordination and are rendered assistance by police machinery so that the encroachment is removed. We stipulate the time of four weeks for such removal. The PIL is disposed of.

2] The amount deposited by the petitioner shall be refunded to him with accrued interest by the registry.
