Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has fled an application for seeking permission to lease land to Bharat Petroleum Corporation on 12th September, 2017. The same is not yet attended to by the State Government.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the Collector had recommended the said proposal to the Divisional Commissioner and the Divisional Commissioner in turn has recommended to the State Government. The said application is pending with the State Government.

Learned AGP accepts notice for all respondents. 4.

In case, the application of the petitioner seeking permission to lease land is forwarded and pending with respondent no.1, then respondent no.1 shall take decision upon it on merits in accordance with law and policy preferably within a period of six months.
