Present petition has been filed for various reliefs, however, it appears that representation that is filed on 24.04.2025 is to the Collector. Petitioner states that the Grampanchayat has been newly formed and there is separate Government Resolution to deal with how the reservation is to be regulated in respect of the post of Sarpanch. As per the communication dated 17.04.2025 respondent No.3 Collector and the draw of lots dated 23.04.2025, the Tahsildar has reserved the said post for ST category, but according to petitioner, there are no villagers or residents under ST category

924_WP_11167_2025 residing in village Danewadi, Tq. Shrigonda, Dist. Ahmednagar. The representation is dependent on the factual aspect. It would be for the Collector to take decision. Learned AGP is producing communication of today's date by Tahsildar, Shrigonda, wherein it is stated that the said representation by petitioner would be placed before respondent No.3 and learned AGP makes statement, upon instructions, that Collector would decide it within two weeks.

In view of said statement, we dispose of writ petition by directing respondent No.3 to decide the representation of petitioner within a period of two weeks from today.
