Issue notice to respondents. The learned Additional Government Pleader waives notice for all respondents. 2.

The limited grievance of the petitioner is that, his proposal seeking validity to his caste certificate was referred to the Committee on 24.10.2016. The petitioner has lost the election. The Committee is not deciding said proposal.

The learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents/State states that, in case the said proposal is pending, then the Committee would decide the same on its own merits.

In case proposal of the petitioner is pending with the Scrutiny Committee, then the concerned Scrutiny Committee shall decide the same on its own merits, in accordance with law, expeditiously and preferably within a period of one (01) year from today.
