Perused the prayers in the Petition. The prayer is for correction in date of birth in service record. Admittedly, the petitioner will be retiring from the service during this year. In that view of the matter, we do not think, this is a fit case to exercise extraordinary writ jurisdiction, in as much as. person entering in employment has to prefer application for correction of date of birth in service record within five years from such entry. No case is made out. Petition stands rejected.
