Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned AGP for Respondents.

By this Writ Petition, the petitioner impugns order dated 19.06.2024 passed by Respondent No.1-the Divisional Joint Registrar, under Section 9 of the Maharashtra Money Lending (Regulation)Act, 2014 (for short "Money lending Act")by which Respondent No.1 disposed of the revision filed by the Petitioner challenging the orders passed by the authorities below under Section 18 of the Money Lending Act. The reason assigned for disposal of the revision is that by virtue of the order passed by this Court taking a view that revision is not maintainable.

However, by virtue of order dated 12.09.2024 passed by this Court in the case of Murlidhar Ganpati Kekan Vs. The state of Narwade/
937.odt Maharashtra & Ors. in Review Application No.196 of 2024 in Writ Petition No.14387 of 2019 relying on the order passed by this Court in the case of Vishwanath Marotrao Ganjre vs. Divisional Joint Registrar Co-operative Society, Amravati and others inWrit Petition No.5362 of 2017 dated 28.08.2018, the revision under Section 9 is held to be maintainable.

In that view of the matter, the impugned order dated 19.06.2024 passed by Respondent No.1 is hereby quashed and set aside by directing Respondent No.1 to entertain the revision filed by the petitioner.

The petitioner undertakes to file a revision within a period of four weeks form today.

The interim relief granted by this Court dated 25.09.2024 to continue for a period of five weeks from today. 7.
