The petitioner has put forth prayer clauses 'B' and 'C' as under :- "B.

To direct the respondent no.6, the State Empowerment Committee to hear and decide the pending application No. SLC 54/19 and for that purpose issue necessary directions.

C.

To direct the Respondent department to temporarily restart the functioning of the petitioner Saw Mills pending the final decision in Application No. SLC54/19 and for that purpose issue necessary orders."

The standing advocate for the Union of India submits that respondent No.6 would follow the due procedure and conclude the proceedings as is expected by this Court.

Considering the prayer, we are of the view that it would be appropriate to call upon respondent No.6 to decide the pending application No.SLC 54/19 by following the due procedure laid down in law and preferably, on or before 15th March, 2023. Hence, ordered accordingly.
