In this petition limited relief is sought on behalf of the petitioner in the form a direction to respondent No.2 - Scrutiny Committee to decide his tribe claim at the earliest.

Urgency in the matter is that the petitioner is seeking admission in the M. Tech Course in Scheduled Tribe Category through MHT-CET-2025. The last date for producing the tribe certificate is 31.08.2025. 3.

Learned A.G.P. appears for both the respondents, State and on instructions makes a statement that the proceedings pertaining to the tribe claim of the petitioner are pending at the stage of final hearing before respondent No. 2 - Scrutiny Committee.

In that light, considering the urgency in the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of by respondent No.2 - Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of petitioner at the earliest and in any case on or before 25.08.2025.
