Mr Shinde, learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the wards are wrongly formed. The colonies in the wards are haphazardly included and formation thereof is irrational without considering the topography. After the provisional list was published, the petitioner raised objection to the provisional voters list, same is not considered in the correct perspective and respondents have ignored the objection raised by the petitioner. 2.

We have heard Mr Kadethankar, learned Counsel for respondent no.2.

The draft ward formation notification was published in the month of February 2020. Objections were invited. The objections were decided in March 2020. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the final ward formation notification was not issued, the same was issued on 27.10.2020. The petitioner did not challenge the said notification till filing of the present Writ Petition. Challenging the provisional voters list without challenge to formation of ward, would be of no avail. Moreover, election programme is also declared. The nominations are to be accepted from 23.12.2020. In view of that, no relief can be granted.
