I have heard the learned Advocates for the respective sides and the learned AGP on behalf of respondents 1 to 4. 2.

The learned Advocates submit that the District Superintendent of Land Records (DSLR) - respondent No.3 can decide the proceedings by considering all contentions of the litigating sides within the period of one month. The litigating sides would appear before the concerned authority.

The learned AGP submits that the period of about three months may be granted, since respondent No.3 would find it difficult to decide the proceedings within one month, considering the nature of his duties. akl/d

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. The litigating sides shall appear before respondent No.3 on 10.10.2018. Formal notices need not be issued. The litigating sides would render cooperation to respondent No.3 and the said proceedings shall be decided by respondent No.3 on/or before 31.12.2018. All contentions of the litigating sides are kept open.
