This application has been moved to bring on record legal representatives of deceased - Bhagirath. He died on 31.03.2016. He was the only claimant before the reference court. It is a State's appeal, taking exception to the judgment and award passed in the Land Acquisition Reference. As such, the appeal stood abated long back. It is, however, informed that the deceased - Bhagirath had preferred a cross-objection in the very appeal. His legal representatives are, therefore, proposed to be brought on record therein. There is delay of little over five years in filing present application.

The application is allowed in terms of prayer clauses (B) and (C), provided that the applicants shall not be entitled for the component of interest or any other monetary benefits for the delayed period i.e. from 31.03.2016 to the date of this order. [R.G. AVACHAT, J.] KBP
