Heard learned advocate for the petitioner and learned AGP. 2.

Factual position appears to be undeniable that payment, if any, in respect of default / arrears of Mahesh Gramin Bigar Sheti Sahakari Patsanstha Maryadit, Sonai has been made by the petitioner only on 26th August, 2015, which is beyond the last date of acceptance of nomination, which was 24th August, 2015. 3.

Apparently, as such, the petitioner had incurred disqualification from contesting concerned elections. 4.

Under the circumstances, there does not appear to be any

{2} wp9200-15 error in the order passed by the election officer as well as the appellate authority. Stage of nomination is already over. 5.

Having regard to aforesaid and the stage at which the elections have reached, I do not deem it appropriate to meddle with the election programme.

Writ petition, as such, stands rejected, leaving it open for the petitioner to take up appropriate proceedings at appropriate stage against rejection of his nomination, including an election petition.
