1] Learned counsel for the petitioner states on instructions that with the passage of time, the matter has been rendered infructuous and as such seeks leave to withdraw the writ petition.

2] Leave is granted. Writ petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs. Interim relief, if any, stands vacated.

WP 8798/14 - 2 - 3] Learned counsel for the respondent no.1 makes a request to observe that the observations made while passing the interim orders shall not be considered to be observations on merits in the matter. The request is reasonable. The observations hitherto appearing in the orders of the High Court in this matter shall not be deemed to be observations on merits of the matter and shall not influence the authorities below while disposing of the matter on merits.
