Respondent no.1 - complainant Jagannath Chavan is personally present in the Court and is identified by his Counsel. In response to court's query, he admits that as reduced into writing by the mediator, the matter is settled on the same terms.

In view thereof, Criminal Application No.4736 of 2016 for compounding stands allowed, pursuant to provisions of section 147 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

Respondent no.1 - complainant will be entitled for amount as has been settled between the parties, as reflected in the report of the mediator dated 17th June, 2016.
