Petitioner claims to be belonging to Rajput Bhamta caste and has been admitted to BDS degree course in respondent no. 4 - college as against the seat reserved for VJ category. Caste certificate issued in favour of petitioner is referred to respondent no. 2- Scrutiny Committee for verification and the proposal is still stated to be pending. As a result of failure of petitioner to submit caste validation certificate, respondent no. 3- University has not yet declared result of petitioner for First year BDS examination. 2.

In the circumstances, this petition can be disposed of by issuing directions to respondent no. 2 - Scrutiny Committee to take decision on the caste certificate verification proposal of petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six

With the directions as above, writ petition stands disposed of.
