The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by the impugned notice, the petitioner is called upon to pay the amount of Rs.50,347/- for illegal transportation of sand, as the vehicle bearing no. MH-04-BG-4271 is already detained.

The vehicle of the petitioner bearing no.

MH-04-BG-4271 be released on payment of Rs. 50,347 in the account of the Tahsildar / appropriate

2 wp 10257.2023 authority. On payment, the vehicle be released in terms as are ordinarily imposed.

In the present petition, the challenge is only limited to the release of the vehicle. The petitioner will have all his liberty reserved to challenge the notices and orders passed before the appropriate authority.
