Mr. Kawade, the learned counsel for the petitioners strenuously contends that Gram Sabha has passed a resolution for removal of names of 300 voters whose names have been illegally entered in the voters list. The Resolution has been passed on 26th January, 2020. The respondents still published provisional voters list on 1st December, 2020. On 15th December, 2020, the petitioners again raised objection to the voters list but the same is not considered. No steps are taken to remove the names of illegal voters from the voters list. 2.

Mrs. Deshpande, the learned Additional Government Pleader submits that the objections are not raised within the stipulated period. The last date for withdrawal of nomination is also over. 3.

The provisional voters list is published on 1st of December, 2020 and objections were invited to the provisional voters list up to 7th December, 2020. Admittedly, during this period, the petitioners did not submit objections to the provisional voters list. Thereafter, final voters

list has been published on or about 10th of December, 2020. The petitioners thereafter, for the first time, raised objection on 15th December, 2020 after publication of the final voters list. As the objection was not raised within the stipulated period, the respondents could not have dealt with the objection of the petitioners. All stages of the process of election are concluded, except voting.

In light of that, no case for interference is made out. Writ petition disposed of. No costs.
