The grievance of the petitioner in this petition was regarding grant of promotion to the post of Deputy Secretary. Mr. Gangakhedkar, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.5 - Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC), has placed on record the copy of proposal dated 21.05.2023 submitted by respondent No.5 to the District Deputy Registrar seeking approval to the promotion of petitioner as Deputy Secretary.

We expect that the proposal submitted by the respondent - APMC, would be decided by the District Deputy Registrar as expeditiously as possible, and in any case, within a period of six (6) months from today.
