We have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.P. for the State.

The petitioner has filed an appeal before respondent No.2 against the 'No Confidence Motion' passed against him. Grievance of the petitioner is that appeal is not being heard. It is further submitted that as per provisions of the Statue, the appeal is required to be decided within one month.

It appears that because of the ensuing election of the Gram Panchayats, the appeal is not heard. Voting is scheduled on 15th January, 2021.

In light of that, the respondents shall endeavour to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably by 5th February, 2021, on its own merits, after hearing all the parties concerned. 5.

Writ petition disposed of. No costs.
