Reply is not filed by the respondents/State. The petitioner states that the petitioner was allotted the Government land however the said allotment was challenged by the original owner and the said allotment is set aside. The petitioner is Ex­ serviceman. The petitioner be allotted any other land in the said Taluka.

We have heard the learned Assistant Government Pleader also.

It appears that, earlier the petitioner was allotted the government land and not a gayran land. The respondent No. 3

E Collectively) on its own merits in tune with the existing policy expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (6) months from today. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
