Petitioner is praying for issuance of directions to respondents to quash and set aside the departmental enquiry initiated against him. Admittedly, the petitioner is apprehended by Officers of Anti Corruption Department on account of demand of illegal gratification and offence has been registered in that regard. Therefore, employer is justified in initiating departmental enquiry proceedings against petitioner. This court at this stage need not go into the merits and demerits of the case of prosecution and examine the charges levelled against petitioner by prosecution.
