The petitioners seek commutation of pension.

It is submitted by Mr. Shaikh, learned counsel for petitioners that the commuted pension of petitioners has not been received as yet, though it is almost 4 to 5 years petitioners have already retired.

Mrs. Deshmukh, learned counsel for Respondent No. 1 submits that many of the petitioners have not given amount of

wp11486.17 commuted pension or the percentage of commuted pension to be received by them. The learned counsel further submits that the financial condition of the corporation is also not good and as such the commuted pension can not be paid at one stretch to the petitioners.

Some pension applications are placed on record. Some of the petitioners, it seems have directed commutation to extent 40%. Some have directed 1/3rd commutation of pension and some of them have not displayed any amount towards commuted pension.

As far as those petitioners who have specified the commuted pension to be availed of, the respondent/corporation shall given the commuted pension amount as stated by them in their applications by 30.10.2018.

Writ Petition disposed of. No costs.
