The husband of the petitioner died on 27.12.2018. She has been appointed on the post of Peon (class IV) on 01.06.2019. The approval to her compassionate appointment is still pending. Consequentially, she is not paid her full salary. She has two children born out of her marriage.

Considering the above and keeping in view that the proposal has been kept pending for three years and two months by respondent No.2/Education Officer, we direct respondent No.2 to decide the proposal for approval dated 22.08.2019 presented by the Management, as expeditiously as possible and
