The facts giving rise for presentation of the instant petition are identical as in case of Writ Petition No. 8993/2015 and another companion petition. For the reasons recorded in petitions referred to above, notification issued by the State Government on 23.07.2015 stands quashed and set aside to the extent of APMC, Shripur. It is also clarified that since the elected body of APMC, Shirpur has completed its tenure in office more than two years back, the request made for issuance of direction in respect of continuance of the elected body of APMC in office until holding of elections, stands rejected. The State Government is directed to take steps for holding elections for electing managing committee of Shirpur APMC, expeditiously. Writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. ( V. K.
