IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE OF BOMBAY
BENCH AT AURANGABAD WRIT PETITION NO.10277 OF 2017 Yogesh Dnyandeo Gonge Petitioner
Versus
State of Maharashtra & others Respondents Mr.S.S.Bora, advocate for the petitioner.
Mr.S.B.Yawalkar, A.G.P. for Respondents No.1 to 4. CORAM : R.M.BORDE & SMT. VIBHA KANKANWADI, JJ.
DATE : 15th September, 2017 PER COURT:
Petitioner is assailing the order passed by the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal rejecting Original Application wherein the petitioner has raised an objection to the appointment of Respondent No.5 on the post of Police Patil. It is the contention of the petitioner that Respondent No.5 is affiliated to a political party and as such is disqualified to claim appointment as Police Patil.
There is absolutely no evidence to substantiate the contention raised by the petitioner. The print out annexed at page 51 of the petition downloaded from the website of BJP also does not conclusively connect Respondent No.5 with the said political party. The view taken by the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal is reasonable and proper.
{2} wp1027717.odt No interference is called for in the writ petition in exercise of extraordinary jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
Writ Petition stands dismissed.
