Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.G.P. Though respondent Nos.3 to 5 are served, none appears for them.

The petitioner seeks transfer from Nandurbar Zilla Parishad to Ahmednagar Zilla Parishad by considering his application dated 21st June, 2016. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the father of the petitioner is suffering from cancer and in exceptional circumstances, the case for his transfer can be considered.

The respondent shall consider the application dated 21st June, 2016 submitted by the petitioner,

wp11240-2016 seeking transfer, on its own merits, during the general transfers to be effected for the year 2017-18. With these directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
