CORAM
: MANISH PITALE & Y.G. KHOBRAGADE, JJ.
DATE : 14 AUGUST 2025 PER COURT :
The applicant / petitioner has moved this application seeking extension of time, to abide by the order dated 18.07.2025, whereby this Court had directed the concerned respondents to grant provisional admission to the petitioner, subject to the petitioner producing character certificate and migration certificate from Gujrat National Law University, Gandhinagar, within a period of 1 month from the date of the said order.
2.
On that basis, by communication dated 21.07.2025, Admission Committee of the Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar granted provisional admission to
2 CA / 8746 / 2025 the petitioner, subject to producing the aforesaid documents within a period of 30 days. It was made clear that, if the documents were not filed by 18.08.2025, the petitioner's admission would stand cancelled. 3.
Learned counsel for MNLU, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar is vehemently opposing the prayers made in the application. He submits that the petitioner is deliberately approaching this Court repeatedly, without taking any steps to approach the Gujrat National Law University for issuance of the character certificate. No steps have been taken till date by the petitioner in that regard. 4.
Although we find substance in the contention raised on behalf of the contesting respondents, by way of last chance, we grant extension of time to the petitioner, only by 15 days, i.e. till 29.08.2025, to comply with the order dated 18.07.2025 passed by this Court. 5.
We make it clear that no further extension will be granted and no further indulgence will be shown to the applicant / petitioner. 6.
The Application is disposed of.
