Heard learned counsel for the applicant / petitioner. 2.

This is an application filed for amendment of writ petition in order to bring on record the subsequent event in the nature of order dated 24.07.2025 passed by competent authority - Sub Divisional Officer (Land Acquisition Officer), Dharashiv. In that context, the prayer clauses are sought to be amended, as stated in paragraph no. 5 of the application.

It is to be noted that in the writ petition itself, even notices have not been issued and the petition is to be taken up for consideration on its own merits.

In that context, we are unable to agree with the learned counsel for the applicant, that prayer clause (C) in the present application, can be considered at this stage. 5.

But since the proposed amendment merely seeks to bring on record the subsequent events and seeks amendment of prayer clause, in terms of the subsequent events, we are inclined to grant prayer clause (B) of the application.

In view of above, the application is partly allowed in terms of prayer clause (B) and the applicant / petitioner is permitted to carry out amendment within two weeks from today.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner in the writ petition, in the light of the amendment having been allowed, issue notice, returnable on 11.09.2025.

Learned AGP waives notice on behalf of respondent nos. 1 and 2.

Liberty to the petitioner to serve respondent nos. 3 and 4 by way of private service and to file affidavit of service before the next date of hearing.
