It is not a matter of dispute that civil litigation is pending between the parties in the shape of Regular Civil Suit No.131/2004. The petitioner contends that an application has been tendered with the Consolidation authorities for correction in the Scheme and the authorities are not taking any decision in the matter since long. 2.

It does appear from the communication dated 31st August, 2010, that certain information has been called for by the Deputy Director of Land Records, Aurangabad, including the progress in respect of the civil matter.

It would be open for the petitioner to approach the concerned authorities and make a request for expeditious disposal of the proceedings pending before the said authority. If the petitioner makes such a request to the concerned authority, the said authority shall consider the request positively and decide the matter expeditiously.
