Though the petitioner is keen to get his proposal decided by the respondent - scrutiny committee at the earliest to secure his admission to M.B.B.S. at least in the second round, the fact remains that he got the caste certificate only in the month of May 2023 and the proposal has reached the respondent - scrutiny committee in the last week of July 2023.

In the circumstances, we dispose of the writ petition by requesting the committee if possible to make an endeavour to decide the petitioner's proposal by 23 August 2023.
